Hi everyone! A friend of ours from Auburn was in a terrible car accident last Saturday. She had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital and is needing our prayers. Molly has a broken pelvis, fractured skull with extensive brain injuries, and a collapsed lung. As of Sunday, she was in a medically induced coma, but they took her off the medicine on Monday in hopes that she would finally wake up. She has not come out of the coma yet, but thanks be to God, she is making some great progress. Yesterday, she cracked one of her eyes open and was tracking people. She is responding to pain and will squeeze people's hands when they command her to. Her brother gave her a wooden cross yesterday, which she grasped and pulled to her chest (sweet). She can wiggle her toes and move her left leg and arm quite a bit. The doctors have tried to take her intibation tube out so she could breathe on her own, but they were afraid it was causing too much stress to her body, which is definitely not what she needs right now. Today, they were suppose to take her intibation tube out due to the risk of pneumonia and because of swelling and put in a temporary tracheotomy. I know it is just a matter of time before she wakes up. Please keep Molly and her family in your prayers.

I hope she recovers soon and will pray that God be with Molly and her family through the tiring and stressful days ahead.
Thanks Shonna! God has already done so much, I know he is going to completely heal her. She is just going to have a long road ahead of her.
I am sorry to hear about your friend. I will pray that she heals quickly!
Thanks Beth!
