Those are the best 3 words ever spoken!
I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Easter! It was definitely a beautiful day, a little windy, but very beautiful. Josh and I had a wonderful first Easter together. We woke up way to early to go to sunrise service at our church, but it was totally worth it. It was a blessing to see what beautiful and wonderful things God has created. That reminds me, the other day, Josh and I were playing basketball, and I made a comment that I couldn't see because the sun was shining right in my eyes. Josh was quick to remind me that instead of complaining about it, we should praise the Lord and thank him for everything, even when the sun is preventing you from beating your husband at a fun game of P-I-G. Anyway, back to Easter. Josh and I went to Ino Baptist with my parents, and it was amazing. Brother Garry gave a wonderful sermon and just getting to spend time with my parents and brother was great. After church, we headed to Enterprise to eat with Josh's family. It was really nice and the food was yummy. We finally finished the day at Grandma and Papaw Elliott's house for our easter egg hunt. YES, we still have an Easter egg hunt. Josh's youngest cousin is 16 and oldest cousin is 27, and we still ALL hunt. And after the grandchildren hunt, then the parents get to hunt for money rolls. What I don't get is the grandchildren only have 1 golden egg, but the parents have 5 golden rolls. But it is sooo fun. And Josh and I got tons of Easter candy, not only in our eggs, but in our baskets. Next year it is going to be even better, because we will finally have a child that is younger than 16. Here are a few pictures from our egg hunt.
