Busy, Busy, Busy!!

Hello everyone!! It has been quite busy around my house lately!! Work has been keeping me super busy the last few weeks and the blog has taken a back seat!! I have been working on this post off and on for about a week now. So here is what has been going on in the Elliott household the last few weeks!!

My wonderful Aunt Cindy finished Ella's bedding a few weeks ago and I have been keeping it hidden for way too long!! We still do not have her furniture yet, but are hoping to get it in the next few weeks!! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has flown by!! Ella will be here in just 14 weeks, give or take a few!!! It gets more real every day!! She makes her presence known all day and especially at night when it is time to SLEEP!!! I wouldn't trade that feeling for anything!!! It is defnintely the best feeling in the world!!!

Maybe you can tell what everything is!! As soon as we get her nursery together, I will post some better pictures of her bedding!!! (Click on pictures for better view)

I love Ella's quilted comforter!! It is oversized and just perfect for her to grow with!!

I also have been busy trying to learn how to sew. My mom brought me her sewing machine a few weeks ago and I have been really eager to learn how to work it, so I can make Ella some cute stuff!! I have already made her 2 burp cloths!!! They certainly aren't perfect, but I figured that would be something easy to play with!! My Aunt Cindy is going to teach me a few things when we come home in a few weeks!!!

On another note, my Upward cheerleaders have been keeping me really busy the past few weekends. Here is a picture of my girls! I have really enjoyed teaching them, but will be very glad when the season is over in just a few more weekends, so Josh and I can make more trips home and to a few Auburn Football games. We hadn't been home in 7 weeks until this past weekend for Labor Day. I have never been so ready to get home to my family than I was this past Friday. Thankfully, Josh was able to get off at lunch and we were out the door as soon as he drove up!!!

They definitely keep me on my toes!!

We had a great weekend with our family!! Josh's dad turned 50 Friday, so we helped him celebrate Saturday and Sunday. Mom and I also had a chance to go shopping Saturday and just spend some time together, which was great!!! We went shopping hoping to get Ella's furniture and stroller at a good Labor Day price, but didn't have much luck!! I did get some really cute maternity clothes though!!! Thanks mom! The weekend of course went by way too fast, but we are counting down the days until we get to come home for a whole week!! Only 8 more days!!!

Happy 50th Mr. Perry!

Hope all have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend!
