Good Bye Summer

Hello everyone!!! Josh and I had a wonderful trip to Panama City Beach this past weekend!! The water was gorgeous on Friday!! There was a sandbar about 20 feet into the water that was to our calves, which was wonderful. I could sit on my knees in the water and enjoy the calm waves. Unfortunately, it wasn't as pretty on Friday. The sandbar had pretty much washed away and there was LOTS of jellyfish everywhere!!!

Josh and I were glad to get away and relax with each other. We met some friends there and enjoyed eating out, as well as doing a little shopping. I found myself shopping more for Ella than I did for myself!! We hit the summer kid sales and picked her up quite a few outfits for next year!!! So exciting, I can't wait for her to finally get here!!!
The weekend went by too fast, but we had a great time!!

Josh and I also built Ella her first bear Sunday at Build-A-Bear. We both thought this would be something special to do for her!!! We enjoyed hugging the bear to make sure it was just right for Ella, making a wish and kissing her hearts (she got two, 1 from mommy and 1 from daddy), and naming her!! Josh actually got to name the bear and you could only guess what the bear's name is!! The bear's name is ALMA!!! That's right, the name Josh has liked all along. He finally got to name something Alma!! :)
Ella's first bear, Alma!!!

And I can't resist, so I am going to give you just a little peek of Ella's bedding, (well one of her pillows)!!!!

Way to go Josh!!! Alma~~~ That is so funny!!! I know he loves that name and I'm glad you let him finally use it on Ella's sweet bear and not as her real name. I can't wait to see everything when your Aunt is finished!

How did your friend do the name on that pillow? Was it done on an embroidery machine?
