The Elliott Family: Vacation, EASTER, 4 months

WARNING: This is a LONG post!!

This is where Josh, me and Ella resided for a few days just a few weeks ago!! Awww... what a nice relaxing few days!!

Josh and I took Ella on her first vacation a few weeks ago. We went to the Great Smokey Mountains with his parents and brother. The weather was nice, until you got up in the mountains and there you found snow, LOTS of snow!! We even had snow flurries one morning while we were there! It was nice to get away and enjoy some relaxation. Ella was a great traveler. She got fussy towards the end of the day, but I wouldn't blame her. Poor thing had been in a carseat for 8 hours up to Pigeon Forge, and throughout the day while we were there.

The men enjoyed ALOT of go-kart riding. They were some serious racers. They even had a pace car that started them off on the NASCAR track and a man that waved every color flag that they use in NASCAR racing. Mrs. Brenda and I laughed our heads off, bc it was absolutely hilarious!!

Ella also enjoyed her first carosuel ride and train ride!! I think her mom was more excited than her when the horse she was on started going up and down!! :)

We had a wonderful vacation that went by too fast... but are counting down the days till our next vacation!!

EASTER- Jesus is Alive!!!

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. John 11:25-26

We had a wonderful Easter, gathering with friends and family, and most importantly celebrating our risen Savior!!

Josh and I had fun dressing Ella up for her first Easter and filling her Easter basket with goodies! She loved her new bibs, outfit and her baby food.....

but would just assume eat the ribbon on her basket!!

We started off Easter morning at church with my parents....

followed by lunch at the park with Josh's family.

We ended the beautiful day with an Easter Egg hunt at Josh's grandparents.

Ella- 4 months old

Ella turned 4 months old on April 1st. WOW!!! I have a 4 month old!! I mean seriously, it was this time last year that Josh and I found out that God had blessed us with a baby and now she is already 4 months old!!

Ella had her 4 month check up on Monday and she weighed 11 pounds and was 23 1/2 inches long! The doctor said she was going to be tall and petite! The doctor also gave us the go ahead to start Ella on rice, oatmeal, veggies and fruit!! As of today, she has only had rice, but we look forward to introducing her to a veggie tonight!!
